- Measurement of Thermal Resistance: a. Turn on the thermal conductivity tester and allow it to stabilize for a few minutes.b. Measure the initial temperature of the fabric sample using the thermocouple and record it.c. Allow the heat to pass through the fabric sample for a specific period, such as 10 minutes.d. Measure the final temperature of the fabric sample using the thermocouple and record it.e. Calculate the thermal resistance of the fabric sample using the following formula:

R is the thermal resistance in m²K/W,
T1 is the initial temperature in °C,

A is the area of the fabric sample in m².
