It is one the premier textile institute in Haryana established in 1943. The college offers following course to the students

Institute is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for all its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. All the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Govt. of Haryana. The Institute is also an approved centre for Doctoral Research leading to award of Ph.D. Degree under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of the affiliating University.
The campus covers 112 acres (45 ha) out of which 109,694 m2 is exclusive to the institute. The institute’s main building has an auditorium. Other facilities include laboratories, men’s and women’s hostels, staff quarters and a playground. The three libraries are the Textile Library, the MBA Library and the Central Library.
